Atlanta. . .here I come!

So, I’m on my way, driving to Atlanta (home of Chick-fila-A I might add) and remembering all the fun I had the last time I was in this town back in 2002. Then I remember how much “trouble” I got myself into while in Atlanta! I had a good time back then, but don’t remember most of the week! I didn’t have to worry about getting into trouble this time because Backstreet (a 24 hour, 7 days a week gay bar) had been shut down. I figured that I would probably just go to the mall, visit the aquarium, and that would be my visit to Atlanta. . . .I couldn’t have been more wrong!

All the fun started when I decided to go to the male strip club, Swinging Richards, the first night I was there. I went there last time and had a great time with my best friend Jose’. Me and him closed the place that time. . . .and I ended up doing it again this time, but by myself! Let me tell you, all the men at this place are GEORGEOUS!!!!! Not one ugly one, I swear!
The first person that I actually met at this bar was a drag queen named Prada. Now, she wasn’t in drag this night, so I met him as Jai. Now Jai is just the type of person that you would go up to and have a great conversation. . . a real people person, ya know? Everyone knew him at the bar, and everyone adores him. He is as sweet as can be, a true southern belle! Well, Jai introduced himself to me and all his buddies and we ended up hanging out for the rest of the night. Two people that I met that will come into play a little later in this adventure are little Todd (another drag queen who is hysterical) and big Todd (a straight guy who just likes to hang out with just about anyone). Little Todd wasn’t in drag tonight, so I had no idea that he was a drag queen until later. He was on the prowl for a man, and he found one pretty damn quick, let me tell you! I saw him in there for less than an hour, and he was off to someone’s apartment. . . the little ones are usually quick! Big Todd, well, let me just say that he was in a “happy mood” for the whole night.

Well, as the evening went on I ended up bonding with Jai and his pals. . .and we closed the bar at 3 am! I had never imagined that I would have stayed out this late, but hey, I was having a great time! Before the bar had closed though, Jai and I had met one of the strippers, Morgan, and decided to meet up later.
That’s when we all went to Todd’s women’s apartment, except Morgan who needed to go run and errand. Now, I’ve lived in some nice apartments in Orlando, but these apartment were amazing! We couldn’t go to the actual apartment, so we hung out in the computer room. So get this, 2 computers with full internet access, and 2 giant flat screen TV’s with digital cable! None of the apartments in Orlando had anything like this. When I mention how nice it was, Jai told me that all the apartments in Atlanta have stuff like that. . . I need to move to Atlanta! It was gorgeous! Blown glass chandelier, giant fitness room, and elevators. They also had a recreation room with a pool table, fridge, ice maker, and a flat screen TV that sank into a console. . .not to mention the outdoor build in grill and pool. Listen to me! I sound like an add for the apartment complex. . .back to the story.
So, Jai, Todd & I hung out in the room with the computers and checked email, did myspace, such and such, just to occupy time before Morgan and his “girl friend” got there. We found out later that she wasn’t his girlfriend anymore, but they still hung out. . . but she acted as if she was! Eventually, when Todd’s woman left, we went up to her apartment and hung out. . .until noon! That’s right! No sleep for Chris. . .but it was a good thing. . . . . .

And the saga continues. . . .

There has been so much going on in the past couple of weeks, that I haven’t been able to keep up. . .plus I haven’t had internet access for a while. So now is my chance to keep everyone abreast of my activities. Now, let’s see where I left off. . . .
Last time we saw our hero, he was in the middle of a “Clifford-The Big Red Dog” tour. He had truly gone to the dogs!

Well, that tour has ended, and there was a party! Yes, a party! Below are some pictures from that party (a good time was had by all).
The tour actually went really well. I finished just about everything that I wanted to fix on the “pups” and on everything else. I had fun the last couple of weeks going all over Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. I mean, we even played SeaWorld! How fun is that?
The tour ended up closing in Columbus, Georgia and I was priviledged enough to stay for an extra week there repairing things. The fun part was that Kathy Griffin was there performing at the same theater we were doing repairs in, so we could work that day. So Mariesa and I went and saw her. . . for free! She was really good! I was actually surprised! Sometimes she can get on my nerves, but she was really great live! If she’s anywhere near you, go and see her. It is worth it! And let me tell you, the gays came STREAMING out of the woods of southern Georgia to see her. . .it was quite funny!
I met a lot of interesting people while I was on tour, most of them Canadian! They truly do have a different culture up there, but in a good way. Let me tell, Canadians are some of the most polite people you will ever meet! If you ever get a chance to go up there, or just makes friends with a Canadian, DO IT! Besides, they’re pretty cute! ;)
Well, this part of the last few weeks isn’t as interesting as the next little bit, so. .

Stay tuned, Adventurers, for the next exciting story in this thrilling saga!. . . . . . .

Las Vegas!

What a wonderful time I had in Vegas! First off, I got to visit with Mrs. Jessica Gaylord! We spent a wonderful day shopping at craft stores! Who could ask for more fun! Then I got to meet up with my friend Jeff, and we had a wonderful time! We went and show some cirque shows and some "Vegas Style" shows, so it was fun! Oh, and I also got to see my friends boobies! That's right! She was in one of the "Vegas Style" shows, and I saw her boobies! It was weird at first, but then you just get use to it!

Well, I do have to say that one of my favorite things about Vegas was going to the Bellagio and visiting the art gallery! They had painting by Monet and Van Gogh, and they were GEORGEOUS! I really love the impressionist period. Anyway, the really best part was when Jeff and I walked through the garden at the Bellagio and saw some amazing flowers, and delicious chocolates.

The desert and chocolate fountain were both in a cute little chocolateria there. And the desert was so rich that neither one of us could finish! I wish that I could have spent more time, but it always just flies by so fast when I'm in that part of the country! Oh well, maybe next year!

Travel Day!

Well, today was a travel day for me. . .but not the kind that I’m use to. The morning started pretty early. . .4:30 am! Yeah, my flight was at 7:20, so I had to get up that early in order to make it to the airport in time. After finally getting ready, I took off to go to the airport, but then realized that I didn’t remember how to get there. So, I ended up traveling around Miami for a bit till I finally saw one of those familiar blue signs with the white airplane on it, you know the one I’m talking about. So I get to the airport and everything is fine. Check in was a breeze. . .the security line was short. . .there was a Cinnabon at the gate. . .it couldn’t have been better! Well, I was going to try to make it sound like something went wrong, but it didn’t. Everything went great. In fact, I’m in Salt Lake City right now, and it is gorgeous outside! I haven’t been outside, but it looks nice! Makes me want to live here a little. . .well, no, because I’ve been here during the winter and it is COLD! Yeah, I don’t do well with cold. . .never have, never will!

Then you're gonna take a left at the 5th to the last light. . .

What a week! I would just like to go ahead an apologize to everyone that I didn't get to see. . .but a week just isn't enough time! UGH! Especially when you have to work during that week! Well, I'll be back at sometime. . .I always am.
So, today I had to drive to Miami, which seems like a simple thing. . . but simple things can be deceiving! I started my "fun" journey by printing directions from MapQuest. Ok, I don't know what has happened to MapQuest, but their directions here lately are HORRIBLE! And if they're the right directions, they're vague enough that you get lost anyway! Well, the directions said that the Florida Turnpike turns in I-95. . . well, that never happens. If you follow the turnpike to the end. . .you end up in the Keys! Which is where I ended up, but luckily I was paying attention to the signs, and didn't actually get to THE keys, just right before it. So, I ended up turning around and following my instincts and found the hotel. Thank goodness for my GREAT sense of direction! Have you ever got lost from directions from MapQuest?

I'm going to Disney World!

I have had a great time this past week being back in Orlando! I went to Pleasure Island on Thursday night, and had a blast! I did end up having to take a friend home because he got a little wasted! That's ok, because he's done it for me a MILLION times!

Yesterday, I went to Epcot with Dawn and Adam and had an AMAZING time! We went on Journey to Imagination, presented by Kodak, and I saw one of my bestest friends at the exit! Her name is Heather, and she is CRAZY. . . and I love her to death! It has been a while since I've seen her, but it's as if time hadn't even passed! Wow, I do miss her lots! Well, She was in a show featuring the Kodak easy-dock cameras, and she was amazing! She is Professor Allbright. . .and she demonstrates how easy it is to use the Kodak easy-dock. Yeah, I love her to death!
Well, after Adam and I spent and hour and a half in line for "Soarin" (even though the sign said it was only an hour) we ran to Mexico to watch Illuminations. Dawn had arranged some special seating for us. . .I just figured that she found a good spot. But NO! We sat on one of the docks in the water! OH MY GOD! It was awesome! The fireworks were right in our face! It was CRAZY! We could feel the heat! Anyway, it was such a good ending to the night, and I had such a wonderful time! I just want to give a shout out to Kelly for getting us in . . .THANKS KELLY!

Goodtimes. . .Anytime you need a favor!

I don't know how many of you out there have watched "Goodtimes", but that is one of the shows that I remember from my younger years. I know that sounds odd, but I enjoyed it. Anyway, so i've been calling people left and right while I've been here, and so many haven't called me back, or they call too late and such. . . .and that sucks! I want to see everyone while I"m here, but it's just so hard to get in contact with people. Granted, sometimes it is hard to get in contact with me. . .yeah. . . I should work on that. Anyway, to all those peeps out there in orlando. . .CALL ME!
